This can be attributed to several factors, such as soil variability, which results in different nutrient levels in various parts of the field. If you notice some plants doing better than others, it’s perfectly normal.

To ensure all parts of your field thrive, maintain proper care and increase nutrient supply where necessary. Soil variability means that not every section will have the same nutrient levels, which can lead to differences in plant growth. When cultivating suckers, some will sprout before others, contributing to these disparities.

Maintaining the Field

Overall, our field is doing well for being just over four months old. Having the right plant population is crucial for success. We’ve used a two-by-two meter land spacing, which is ideal for commercial farms. Regular maintenance, such as sucker management, leaf trimming, and weed control, is essential to ensure optimal growth and productivity.
